Stuart C. Paul is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter, director and photographer.

He graduated from USC with a degree in Writing for Screen and Television and has worked with a variety of directors across genres, including Anton Corbijn, Roland Emmerich and Takashi Miike.  He has sold projects to MGM, Universal, NBC, STX and more.  His screenplay Yasuke was included on the Black List, the film industry's annual honor roll of the most acclaimed unproduced scripts of the year.

As a filmmaker, his feature-length documentary Ink & Linda won Best Documentary at the 2022 Dance Camera West film festival and is distributed by Freestyle Media.  His short film The Lord of Catan, starring Amy Acker and Fran Kranz has amassed a cult following.

Also an acclaimed comic creator, his graphic novel Ides Of Blood, which reimagines the assassination of Julius Caesar by vampires, was published by DC Comics. The series was nominated for three CBG Fan Awards, including Best Writer.

In his spare time, he pursues Japanese swordsmanship and takes his cat on hikes.
